BP’s Tangguh liquefied natural gas plant in West Papua, Indonesia, will supply state-run power utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) with 230 million cubic feet of gas per day from 2013. The Jakarta Post quoted Energy & Mineral Resources Minister Jero Wacik as saying BP would sign a memorandum of understanding with PLN for the deal on Thursday.

Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) Bay of Jakarta, Bekasi, West Java, on Friday (4 May 2012), began receiving gas supplies from LNG carrier ships.
According to the Director General of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Evita H Legowo, in Jakarta, during a visit, it ensures the transfer of LNG from the LNG carrier vessel Aquarius to the West Java FSRU could be implemented.
